Free insurance against breakage or water damage is applicable only to particular SAMSUNG mobile devices where the Galaxy Care application has been installed within 14 calendar days after the purchase date of the device. You can ask your seller whether the mobile device chosen by you has a free insurance cover.
Download the Galaxy Care application from Galaxy Apps. In the application select “Insurance” and enter the purchase date of the device. If there is a free insurance cover available for your device, you will get a confirmation that a 12-month insurance policy is valid since the purchase date. If no free insurance cover is applicable to your device, you can acquire it under the special terms directly from Warranty Expert.
During the insurance period, repair services can be provided 2 times.
In the case of each insured damage a 25 % unconditional deductible is applied. When you arrive in the Maintenance Division, you will be requested to produce the purchasing document, i.e. the cash receipt or VAT invoice.
In the event that repairs on the device have been already carried out twice under the insurance contract, the insurance contract is considered to have expired after the second repair.

The insurance becomes valid when, after having opened the Galaxy Care application the first time and entered the purchase date of the device, you can view the information that the device is insured for 12 months. If there is no free insurance cover available for your model, you can purchase it from Warranty Expert. Having paid for the service, you can also see the expiry date of the insurance policy in the application. The insurance is activated automatically and you do not need to activate it additionally. If you cannot see such notice, there is no insurance cover applicable to your mobile device, or your mobile device is not connected to the network.
Your mobile device will be insured for 12 months after the purchase date of the device. The precise insurance expiry date can be viewed in the Galaxy Care application. If a device has been repaired two times under the insurance contract, the insurance contract is considered to have been expired after the second repair.
You can see the confirmation that your device is insured in the Galaxy Care application. If the insurance cover is valid, there will be a notice that your mobile device is insured and the expiry date of the insurance displayed in the application.
